How to Achieve the Dramatic Arabic Eye Make-up Look
Truth be told, Arabic make-up is not for the woman who wants not to be noticed. Muslim women in the Middle East are fond of dramatic Arabic eye make-up. At first blush, this might seem strange given that Muslim women are supposed to be modestly dressed so as not to attract attention, especially from the opposite sex.
And dramatic make-up is all about drawing attention - the sultry, smoky eyes makes a woman look captivating. For the Islamic observant Muslim woman in the Middle East, such dramatic make-up are worn during females-only gatherings like weddings and baby showers.
If Arabic make-up is something you might want to consider trying out, check out the tips below to get started on dramatic Arabic eye make-up.
Tips on Doing the Dramatic Eye Makeup
1) If you have dark eye circle, prep the eye area with a good under eye concealer.
2) You will need the following make-up items: dark brown eyeshadow, kohl black eyeliner pencil, eyeshadow brush or sponge-tip applicator, eyelash curler and black mascara.
3) Take an eyeshadow brush and apply dark brown eyeshadow to both your upper and lower eyelid.
4) Using the kohl black eyeliner pencil, apply the eyeliner to your entire upper and lower eyelid rims, smudging it into your lash line.
5) Soften the eyeliner with an eyeshadow brush or sponge-tip applicator by smudging it to blend away the edges.
6) Curl your eyelashes.
7) Apply mascara to both top and bottom lashes.

Arabic Hijab Styles from Egypt for Muslim Women
Egypt has been in the media throughout 2011 because of the Arab Spring revolutions. Many of us saw our brave Egyptian sisters out there in Tahrir Square protesting for freedoms just like any other person. We also saw (quite unintentionally, of course) the varied hijab styles of the Egyptian Muslim women.
Egyptian hijab styles are known for their uniqueness. We decided to feature some Egyptian hijab styles for Muslim women in today's post.
We came across this excellent store in Egypt called Scarfa that specializes in great looking hijabs. We think this store represents some of the best Egyptian hijab styles. Check the Scarfa hijab designs below.
